Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we went to Utah and then to Idaho. We had a lot of fun seeing all of our family members. One big event was Detroit's fourth loose tooth. By the end of Thanksgiving Day the tooth was just hanging there...but Detroit was not about to let anyone pull it. Finally grandpa, aunts and uncles all offered a couple of dollars each if she would just let her Aunt Natalie pull the tooth. Finally Detroit caved, but as a result, she earned hersef 19 dollars - and that was before the Tooth Fairy visited! It was a lot of fun seeing the whole family.

Hello

I am just dropping by to suggest that Detroit might like my blog.

It is an illustrated adventure story for children and it is called THE BRICKS IN THE CAVE.

You can find it at
http://bricksinthecave.blogspot.com/

I posted it first during the summer, a chapter a day, but have left it in place for people to read at their leisure (and to print off if they find it easier that way!)

I do hope you enjoy it - and would appreciate comments too.

Hope your holiday season continues happily and that you will have a wonderful 2008.

Yours sincerely

Susan Harwood

Holy Cow Detroit! Don't tell your cousins how much you got for your tooth or they will feel TOTALLY RIPPED OFF! I think the most the ever got was three dollars so you are very lucky!
